Blake says his shoulder only jarred

Post: # 639537Post saintsRrising »

Blake says his shoulder only jarred...and that it is ok and that he will play against the Pies.

Was just on TEN late night news.

Was an interview with Blake at the MVP.

Its a pity that Bally didnt win most courageous and Roo best captain but you cant win them all.

if his shoulder is only jarred then why all the mind games?

i have seriously heard about five different injuries for blake in the past 24 hours- ranging from dislocated shoulder to broken wrist to broken finger. if he had jarred his shoulder than why did the club announce he had jarred his thumb?

i dont think the club told blake that he wasnt allowed to tell the media what his injury actually is

Funny how Blake has had the be-jezuz bagged out of him in the past by many Sainters - yet, all of a sudden he's a terrible loss.

Blake has a massive engine. He slots in and does the jobs others can't adapt to! Very underrated, and a passionate Saints man!

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

Blake has improved markedly over the last two years....including this year again.

His spoiling skills have really ramped up and he is the second best spoiler at the Club now....behind Max.

Still no star...but a very solid and reliable player now.

Two seasons back his football was marred with regular brain fades each game...and often sloppy disposal (his kicking has also improved, as has his decision making skills).

With Goose out...Blake haing stepped up in defence means that Sam can often still be used as a loose player.

That's what we're after. This is why the Kangas get there time and time again. Reliability! A few extra stars who can consistently stand up can make a team shine. We're close, but we lack consistency I feel. Sundays game could have been played out quite differently if some factors had changed within the group. It's not an impossible task.

We've gone the long route before. Sometimes it's paid dividends doing so, and made us battle-hardy.

I am so p$%$ed off I can't get there this weekend!

Not sure if this has been highlighted but The Blake was awarded the Education and Training Excellence Award after combining his football with a double degree in civil engineering and business.......

He received this award last night

Onya Blakey!
