Yeh, it's on sunday just made the mistake.

Massive thing about this -

We are now on Hawthorns side of the draw.

If we lose against geelong and then win second final, play Hawthorn in the Prelim.

We are only in hawthorn's half of the draw if they lose. I'm assuming a win next week

Not sure who will come in for Dempster, but we have X and maybe Ball to fit into the team.

We lack a small forward defender now that Dempster is out.

Not sure we can cover SJ, Chappy etc. without Dempster...

Leigh Fisher back?

Ross Lyon said it looks fairly serious, and he is usually the optimist.

We haven't made many changes lately. Might just be Ball for Dempster. I'd like to see X get a game but can't think of anyone who deserves to be dropped.

problem is ball isnt a replacement for dempster in terms of a mid sized backman. we'll need someone to come in to replace him as the backman (leigh fisher, baker) and then someone else will have to go for ball.

its quite a tough one.

then u can argue that l.fisher hasnt played all yr and can hardly be in any sort of form heading into finals.

and eddy shouldnt go. he really was very good.

Unfortunately it looks like Ball will not be ready. Obvious change is X in for Dempster. Depending on injuries and recovery Allen may get a run as well. :D

i was thinking along the lines of gwilt dropping back to replace dempester and bringing in allen or another mid size forwards.

it is obvious x cnt replace demps.

Gwilts been so good up forward though.

Strength and his quick, a good kick aswell - he is a bit suspect up back.

You could very well be right though.

Raphael Clarke played his best game for the club tonight he was awesome!

I don't know about anyone else.....

But I plan on cheering the saints home for a victory come sunday.

Talk of any other outcome is ridiculous.

Fisher has finals experience and is a mature body. I'd think that X would come back.

Our best 3 stopping backs out ffs: Baker, Attard, Dempster.

c jones to take johnson

now that gwilt is playing well up forward and I like eddy maybe clint can do a stopping tackling role down back on johnson

just a thought

0 chance of that happening TSR.

Jones was pretty good on Stanton today though.

Birss can actually play as an attacking player play the looks of today...

Just a shame Dempster is out, he is the perfect match for SJ.

Maybe

Max to SJ
Blake to Lonergan
Fisher to Mooney
Gilbert to Chappy (seemed to of groomed Gilbert to take the small forward)

i like the look of that actually, only issue with max is that sj will run him around at the contests

blake on longergan is good un, blake can and should win out as anyone including fiora could play full forward for geelong and kick goals

"It's a work in progress," Lyon said.
