Not a bad shout. I'm all for Seaby if we could get him for a cheap price.
Since he is 24, he could ruck for another eight or so years.
Would all depened on what WCE wanted and his price tag.
Sadly, I suspect they'd want a late 2nd/early 3rd round pick and he'd want a good solid pay day.
Not sure we'd be willing to offer that.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

I'd give him 7. Priceless player.bobmurray wrote:Not on a 5 year contract though...evertonfc wrote:I'd rather Jon Brown...Armoooo wrote:Wouldn't mind Seaby, would rather Kerr
Could work out an early release if you had too.
Any club should move heaven and earth to get him.

to get a deal done you would have to give brisbane the family jewels and the kitchen sink.evertonfc wrote:I'd give him 7. Priceless player.bobmurray wrote:Not on a 5 year contract though...evertonfc wrote:I'd rather Jon Brown...Armoooo wrote:Wouldn't mind Seaby, would rather Kerr

theyd ask for dids plus a first round pick - minimum. so i guess its possible for the pies. but saints only real trade bait is roo. maybe dal and a first rounder? i doubt that would be enough.

Warnock has shown glimpses that he will be in the Dean Cox league in a few years time. Big call I know but he is a 6 foot 8 athlete who can play footy.Con Gorozidis wrote:White is finished and Warnock - apart from being tall - has done nothing and seems highly over-rated.
If Melbourne get him they will be exceptionally lucky.
He may be overated now but in 2-3 years time whatever club has him will be the envy of 15 others.

remember when josh fraser was the next peter moore. sandilands was going to revolutionise and dominate the game. Ottens. Symonds. Hille. So may ruckmen promise the world.
brisbane are still waiting on leunberger.... he was also the greatest thing since sliced bread.

You don't often see a young ruckman pick up the ball off the deck & deliver the ball quickly to a teammate's advantage. They're usually unco as a new born giraffe.
I've seen Warnock do that a number of times. Leunberger is a beauty too. He'll end up the best player from that draft (Gibbs will be a superstar but Leunberger will be his equal at 6'8).
Midfielders are a dime a dozen... a gun tall is like a needle in a haystack. We're lucky we've got one of only a handful of true superstar talls in the whole comp.
That's why I would entertain the thoughts of trading Dal but probably not Kosi.

Dont seem to be on the same wave legnth on alot of your posts but on this one i'm with you. Have seen a few West Perth games this year & he not up to it. Seems to have conceeded that his afl career is over & is just going through the motions. At the end of last season I was hoping St.Kilda would go after him but I now think we are better off sticking with what we have already.Batnoe wrote:Am over Seaby
wouldnt have minded him last year, but he is shocking, cant jump!
We dont need another Jump Too early Ackland
Re: Seaby
Yep they will want that and if they dont offer them Howard as well. They would be mad to not grab it.Con Gorozidis wrote:I reckon we go for Seaby for a late pick. Offload MG & Rix . Move King on to veterans list.

Agree! I reckon we keep MG, go with King, Kosi, McEvoy, MG and maybe VR, trade or delist Rix. Rix gives 100%, but unfortunately he's a list clogger!older saint wrote:Seaby is a slightly better version of Ackland. No thanks- This guy played a game this year and had 1 possession as a ruckman?
No need to continue to recycle other rubbish - Rucks: King, Kosi , Gardiner McEvoy - good mix of experience , mid career and youth
Brown will not be playing in 5 years this is an amazing statement from you but one we have come to expect from youevertonfc wrote:I'd give him 7. Brisbane are only looking at 3 or 4 and they know him and his body but you would have the club offer him 7 and then if the club did offer something like this you would spend the next 4 years bashing everyone up at the club...
typical comment and thinking from you
Our best is yet
to come......
