Last round v Essendon

Does anybody know if we'll be wearing that hidious & pathetic white apron for the last game, & possibly Harv's last game? Noticed ealier in the year that Essendon didn't wear their anti-clash strip against us as the away team.(last year they wore the red shorts with a thicker red sash) Hoping that the AFL no longer see a clash between the two teams.Hears hoping our wonderful champion is wearing the mighty red,white & black ST.KILDA guernsey, we all love & worship, in his final game. The apron would be disrepectful to the great man....& us.the diehards.

Yes as soon as I saw the horrible white jumpers on Saturday night I thought the signs were not good. Remember the first time we wore those yellow atrocities? I believe it was against Essendon and we got done by about 90 points. I hope to god we wear the traditional jumper.

Anyone know if tickets are available for the game yet?

Totally agree - is there anything we can do in terms of contacting the club?

We WILL be wearing that white apron arrangement against Essendon because the AFL will tell us what to wear. Let us all have the peace of mind in knowing that this will probably be the LAST time we have to wear it (Unless we clash with someone higher on the ladder in finals) !!

Bring your cameras Round 21 folks..might be the very last time you see Robert Harvey in a PROPER St Kilda jumper..

Round 22 looks like the 'apron" and if we make finals and play Collingwood no doubt they will bleat about their precious tradition and how they shouldnt have to wear an alternative jumper in a final

If the unthinkable happens and Round 22 is a dead rubber, Id love the Club to ask for special dispensation to wear OUR jumper for Bangers last game. Nothing will hinge on the result (apart from sending Banger out with a win of course!!!!!!) so who cares if theres a mixup or two.

Or if the pricks refuse to allow us to wear our REAL jumper, then as soon as the match finishes (assuming it's Harvs last), ALL our players put on their REAL guernseys when Harvs does his laps of honour and is carried off the ground (in a throne/rocket ship or similar of course!)
