Well I ventured down there but wasn't there for all the match & I was in the bar for part of that :) I have to say the weather is a truck load better back in Perth today than it was there yesterday!

For info it was X who was in the best players - he won the Krispy Kreme donut award - surely the type of award that should have been around in trent knobel's time  & Charlie was the Gardiner who kicked the goal.

From what I saw of the match Armo, X, Steven & Birss all worked hard & McEvoy looked like a footballer although not necessarily a 'ruckman' as such, in fairness to him it was hardly the day for anyone to be showing a lot of anything other than endeavour.

I was reasonable close to the bench when Chivers came off with what I presume was a dislocated little finger, now I don't know about the comment above about him being reluctant to get it attended to but I do know that the doctor was with him and didn't actually do anything for a couple of minutes before going into the rooms. I know I was very frustrated at the apparent inaction but I guess it is ok now as I seem to recall that I saw him later and I don't think that it was bandaged at that time.

Kyle Matthews definitely looks like a good footballer, I know that his size probably goes against him but I reckon he could be a good rookie pick up.

was my comment- but from where I was sitting he seemed to be backing away along the boundary line--- - just an impression

Cheers brat. Frankly, I didn't notice it but I reckon he'd have no real 'right' to be backing away from the doctor who, I think, should have taken control & it certainly didn't look like that was the case.
