Fizz cops 1
Aaron Fiora has been suspendedn by the MRP for 1 week with an early plea.
No big loss but atleast his giving a bit out more than what some are currently doing

Saw this one as it was right in front of me on the wing.
Fiora hits a kid playing one of his first games I think.
Soft as butter, yet gets a week.
The effort though, trying feigning toughness, was just pathetic by Fiora. Wonder if he would've tried the same on Scott Burns?

I didn't see the incident he was reported in at all.
What did surprise me though I saw him go in really hard with the body in the centre of the ground. Forget which quarter it was but I thought wow.. Fiora.
Unfortunately the match stats don't show a lot else.
Can't be a huge loss missing him for a week although I'm thinking the coaching panel may have had him earmarked for next week seeing how it is Subiaco.
Next week is crunch time. We need to beat Freo bigtime.

did i miss something?
this is the first time ive heard about it.
was it a bad hit? surely not as bad as Barry Halls on Goose?
i can see what would of happened, hall punched the s*** out of goose and got off, while Fiora gave this guy a love tap and got 1 week? if Fiz was wearing a swans jumper nothing would of happened....

"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."

Best players...??? Is that good enough reason to get a game ahead of the 10 or less possession brigade currently not up to AFL footy?
I looked at the teams off the press last Thursday and couldn't believe Birss wasn't in for Ball and Max in for Gwilt or Geary - desperately needed a tackler and in and under type who can kick a goal last Saturday.
Birss ain't quick but he's not alone, at least he has a go and of the kids Armitage is one of the few who shows genuine promise.
...and how about you blokes quit it with personally bagging anyone whose opinion is not the same as yours! It's a forum and we're all in it together.
Graceful, elusive, strong overhead and no Easybeat!
