Joey & Dal...
Haven't they gone downhill this year? Can count combined excellent games by the two on the one hand for the whole season. Disappointed in the both of them, particularly in their defensive efforts. Especially with Bally's absence, it was vital that these two stand up and be counted, and neither produced anything.
The Saints are coming!

People who criticise Nick Dal Santo must have missed the last quarter last night. He almost won it off his own effort. Why can't he play like that all night? Because no one can - not even Chris Judd.
As for Leigh Montagna, he is (and always was) simply too small to be a leading mid fielder. Every team knows he is physically weak and so they put the strongest tagger on him to knock him about. This happened again last night.
He can't do much about his size (although if he lived in WA he could, without fear of detection, use steroids) but he can do something about his kicking for goal. I have never seen a player miss so many crucial running goals by one metre! In a good side, he would be a bit player - like he was in 2004 and 2005.
