We won't beat Freo I'm resigned to missing finals. Had their chance. Any team that struggles to beat Eagles, Port and an undermanned Pies shouldn't be there. I just want to go out of season 2008 now with a BIG WIN for Harves in Round 22 - cheer him off, go crazy .... and then forget this season. Luv ya Harves!

It's more likely that Essendon respect Harves more then the current group does, and forfeit.

Not wanting to sound like the pesimist from hell but we simply are not up to it . Apart from a couple of quarter's againt Hawthorn & one againt the Kangaroos we have been nothing short of a rabble . Our foot skills are on a par with Melbourne ,our leg speed is the worst in the AFL & of late our commitment has been disgraceful. Very hard to find a positive at the moment & Ross has them playing a terrible brand of football that they are not capable of playing. Finals are still a posibility but on what they dished up tonight you could kiss the finals & the rest of the season goodbye. They are playing with no heart , no spark, it's as if they dont want to be there. We couldn't beat a second grade West Coast, fell over the line against a depleted Port Adelaide & now surrended to make shift Collingwood who were hopelessly out of form till tonight. Fremantle will beat us by 10 goals if we dont pull our selves together & actually show some pride in jumper. Lets hope they can turn things around in the next 3 weeks just so we have a glimmer of hope in 2009 but at pressent the signs arent good

Have to agree (sadly) Saintly-safes. I'm in a tipping comp (like many) and there's no way I'd pick us to win next week. Mind you ... if Freo wins another game don't they lose a priority draft pick? Heard a whisper that they too are 'tanking'. Maybe that's why they didn't get over line against Swans?

Our best footy is actually pretty damn good. We just rarely play it. We don't deserve finals, and even if we somehow scrape in, we won't cause any damage. We can barely string 4 minutes of decent footy together, let alone 4 quarters.
