Lenny was there, as was Milney and G-train...didn't see the vision of any others, as they were in the background not directly behind Harvs.

I actually was a little disappointed with that - thought they would've got close to the entire team there, standing united behind the greatest. A little odd.

Please...let's win a Premiership before GEELONG!!!! (O.k., so we've missed that opportunity...maybe let's win the next one before Geelong????)

I saw Roo and Bally in footage as well.

As for your comment, I think the boys would have let Rob and Danielle sit up there and have their moment. I don't imagine Rob would have wanted the entire playing group in the picture with him.

I would imagine it would have been Harves choice and given how tough it was to actually tell them..................

there were more than players present- again a mark of the Man

To tell team-mates of the end yesterday morning, Harvey asked that several former team-mates such as Stewart Loewe join him at Moorabbin. Whether he did so for the comfort of their company or for the significance of bringing together players with whom he started and finished his career he did not say. What he did admit to, though, was that the game had never presented him with a more difficult experience.

"21 years ... f..k!" said the ever colourful Kevin "Cowboy" Neale, St Kilda's roguish premiership hero and star of the 1960s and 70s who was present at the public retirement announcement a little later. Neale described Harvey as the greatest Saint of all. Better than premiership captain Darrel Baldock, triple-Brownlow medallist Ian Stewart and the game's all-time goal-kicking record-holder Tony Lockett who, of course, shared his career with Sydney.
