oh we should be celebrating what we have seen from the hero although it will be difficult to get rid of the tears right now!!

All i can say is he is a LEGEND of the game and i hope the boys give him what he deserves!

Send him out in style people, this includes players & supporters.

Thanks Harves, you single handedly have made following St Kilda bearable through some pretty ordinary times.

Very, very sad day - nothing short of an absolute legend, ornament to the game and top bloke.

Will miss seeing him jink his way through traffic - and sad that my 4 year old son won't get to experience the pleasure of watching Harv's bouncing through the centre of the G.

Waiting for the DVD....

Please...let's win a Premiership before GEELONG!!!! (O.k., so we've missed that opportunity...maybe let's win the next one before Geelong????)

Take every chance to get to the footy.

Get to our last 3 melbourne games in the home and away season, and hopefully whatever finals.

This bloke has been a constant in most of our lives as fans and we only have a few more chances to show our appreciation.

We knew it was coming, but that doesn't make it any easier. Let's get to the footy and celebrate one of the greatest career's of all time.

and spur him on as he tries to lead this club to a flag.

Totally agree! Time is now very limited to see the legend in action!

....and now get ready to see Roo single-handedly destroy Collingwood this week!

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

We should concentrate on the fact we've been lucky enough to have seen one of the very best ever go around in the red white and black.

Dunno about anyone else, but i'm pretty pumped about how the next 8 weeks are gonna go now. I feel a fairytale brewing down at Moorabbin!!!

Just got my text message from the great man.

I have tears in my eyes & can't concentrate on work.

Great to hear that all the playing group were there with him at the press conference.

I am going to the Saints Angels function tonight with some players in attendance. Will be far more subdued than last years I would imagine.

We all get down on the footy club at times, things don't go our way, they frustrate us, they give us anger and grief. But Robert Harvey has for more than 20 years given us so much, and enriched all of our lives. He has made us all so happy. Get to every game you can. I want 50,000 at the Dome for the Adelaide game to honour Harves. Get behind the boys, we owe to the most dedicated and legendary figure this club has ever seen.

Robert, I love you and will always love you.

May we honour your career with the premiership you deserve.
