If they are fair dinkum then Didak should be gone, and Shaw suspended for the rest fo the year. Drink driving is one thing, but lying to your club, captain, teammates and president is entirely another. Trust within a team is everything, and they've just totally destroyed their credibility. How could thier teammates ever trust them?

Heath Shaw and Alan Didak
Since Monday's press conference, the Collingwood Football Club has established that Alan Didak was in fact a passenger in Heath Shaw’s car on Sunday night.
The sanction imposed on Heath by the club on Monday was a result of information stated by both Heath and Alan after being repeatedly questioned about the incident.
Given the club has now found their information to be false, it strikes at the principles of honesty and integrity that the Collingwood Football Club is built on.
For this reason, the sanction imposed today will be immediately reviewed by the club, and media will be notified of a press conference to be held on Tuesday.
Both players were uninjured in the accident, however Heath was later charged by police for drink driving, with a blood alcohol reading of .14.

May the putrescent guts of your lower than low black and white feral rodent be turned inside out and slow roasted for all of the drooling masses to savour. May the eulogies be bitter and the recriminations long. May your white stripes fade slowly to black.

who really are the main players in this.....the others are bit players........i can think of about a dozen extra charges without really trying.....

whichever way it is handled by collingwood it is a win for us.
either 1) they go into the game without two good players or 2) they play and collingwood looks desperate, weak and inept for letting them.
i actually prefer that they do play, because it makes collingwood look worse.
either way, what a massive embarrassment. i actually feel a little sorry for eddie .... but not for mickey milkshake.

yep all of the above would be good. Maybe just fade to grey.
Collingwood are locked into supending both players after they have both admitted lying to the club and given the tenor of the subsequent media release.
However IMO this is not in our best intersts. We would be better off if they did play as although clearly very important players for the pies they are both likley to mentally spent and contribute very little as per Didak's game after the all guns blazing incident where he played a shocker.
Instead by suspending both players it will enable them to galvanise their players group which will make them a more dangerous team for us to face.

true. but if thats so we have two less running/goal scorers toworry bout. Hit them with everything early as 6 day break could take a toll on us later.
MUST tackle relentlessly..and we lose our bets in this area..
