I think Ralphy was asking if Fiora was going to miss tomorrow's game and be replaced by Birss, not if he missed the shot.casey scorp wrote:Not listening to the whole game - haven't heard his name mentioned though.ausfatcat wrote:Birss playing?
Half time - 5.10.40 to 4.4.28
If it was Fiora having a shot for goal (will he miss?) that must have been the shot after the siren that I just heard had hit the post.

I have no problems with why he was dropped but there are some players who simply can't acknowledge they need to work harder when they've failed to deliver in the seniors and / or believe they are too good to be playing in the magoos. I was simply pointing out it was a good sign that Armo accepted his fate and took the demotion professionally and put in in the lower grade.Spinner wrote:Why would he sulk?Ghost Like wrote:Good to see Steven and Howard in the best along with Raph and Armo. Good quality shown by Armo that he didn't put his bum in the corner and sulk.
Wasn't it 4 touches from endless amounts of game time last week?

X was still running on 'top of the ground' by games end
as was Bakes- again wearing "Brookes' warm up top pre game
Both coming on and of through rotations But right through the four quarters.
Bakes needs to practice his goal kicking- had the whole forward fifty to himself and missed everything
It was Jack Steven that hit the post on 3/4 time he also 'just' missed from a long bomb- just touched on the line when it dropped after looking like being to high to be touched; Scorps had plenty of scoring opportunities and didn't capitalise-
Raph had a great game- the only times he got caught were from hospital hand passes to him. He kept running all day-
commentators couldn't separate Ferg and Fish- even after Fish tried Mud wrestling. Fish was busy early and Ferg noticeable later in the game
3 players left wondering where they were- Silvagne- very stiff and sore after the game but walking around, Matthews and one other also connected with heavily,
odd spot- in the last minutes two players one hawk and one scorp both suffering bad cramp- both in same area of the ground after a contest, not a trainer to be seen- the hawk player in particular was just left on the boundary line he fell over- and everyone walked away- he was in agony.
If I'd known about Eljay's 'award' I would have congratulated him
A few players there and most of the coaches.
No wonder they come up with nicknames...
GO X!!!!![/quote]
commentators were calling him M & M- not sure if that's his club nickname though, he took a big hit and went of groggy.
