It was all our doing that has put a stop to our Top 4 hopes.

Decisions were soft, 10 years ago we would ave won that game. 3 goals to them from frees in the last quarter...

Still, they know the rules.

1st half wasnt that bad, 2nd half umpiring was worst ive watched for a while. wrapped west coast in a bubble, couldnt even lay a tackle or make a spoil without giving a free. ofcourse when one wasnt called in any sort of contest jako made sure we heard that there was a 'chance of one' lol

paranoid but it wasn't good anyway...

saints lost the game, if they had played to their ability the umpires would've had no effect on the 4 points.

St Kilda lost the match, not the umpires.

Riewoldt shouldn't have missed those shots in the 1st quarter, Fiora shouldn't have been on LeCras for as long as he was. None of the midfield really stood out. The ruck was a joke, particularly Gardiner who on today's form shouldn't retain his place.

And Hudghton's injury in the first 10 minutes was a massive handicap. As I said in the other thread though, better we get a wake up call now than in a few weeks time.

Both the umpiring, and the commentary on Fox sports added insult in injury. Both were an utter disgrace.

Your really deluded if you can blame the umpires !!!!

We were rubbish today, reverted back to early season form stop start football no run no midfield pressure.

The selection of Gardiner was terrible he was absolutely useless. Shows how important Kosi actually is

We played like crap, but in an even contest 29-10?

As usual the umpires got caught up in the crowd reaction and thought they were the game.

Even umpiring and we'd have won it depsite playing like crap.

What's the bet Didak gets off for a jumper punch too?

Was that a strange white powder I noticed on the umpires upper lip during a close up? Mabey they wanted to experiance another win.

29-10 and christ knows how many goals from free kicks makes a massive differance in a close game.

Absolute bulls***

it was a conspiracy..i mean the saints showed up to play, were simply awesome but the umps f***ed it for us.

FFS stop deflecting the blame away from a terrible display of football.

fickle lot.

we were disappointing today.....no doubt.

as prevoiusly stated though 29 - 10 is a huge difference and undoubtedly has an effect on the result.

Let's put it behind us now and focus on next week......that's the challenge

Stats dont lie. Close game 29 free kicks to 10.

I agree that we played like dogs bollocks but the poor performance of the whistle BLOWERS (AGAIN) had to make even the slightest differance, and if it did they didnt do their jobs properly

i am sure if you read the clearance stats, the hitout stats and most importantly the scoreboard you will see that we lost so you are right..stats don't lie.

i am not defending the umps but we didn't deserve to win.

Who is saying they are?

The umpires make mistakes they are (probably) human after all but if 1 team gets 3 times the amount of free kicks as another it seems a little strange

Only saw the second half but looked OK to me and that is when they got most of the frees. Amazing if you are in first you get looked after.

Fair enough, but listening to it on radio the commentators mentioned they got a few lucky ones. Only going on what I know and what I heard on radio.

29-10 is a big gap and as biased as the SEN team sounded to my ears they mentioned West Coast reciving the rub of the green and a few lucky freebies
