I'd like to see that Brad Dick from Collingwood take a speccy over Coxy.

Ross in most of his recent interviews of late seems to have made a point of recognising guys playing for Casey that have put in.

Rix however ,if I have read the Casey reports correcty, has spent some time at Casey this year playing as key forward.

He has great aerobic ability...soa left field ide could be for him to tag Cox.

However yes I would imagine that MG would come in.

Lateral thought No 2...Eagles will almost be fielding a VFL standard team if Glass is out....so maybe Rixy will star

Better than one of the local stations (3ser or doubleX) calling "Sloppy Dick" and then giggling about it.

Kossie out, Rix in, really 6 on one, half a dozen the other

It's great that when we have a player such as Kossie out, we've got a ready made, potential ALL Australian ruckman to come in to replace him.

rix may have played on cox before. but gardiner played WITH cox for a few years and would probably know his game style better then most other ruckman in the comp.

The only way West Coast will score a win against their will is if some bright spark decides that Rix is the man to take on Cox. Frightening really....

I've got a bit of a soft spot for Rix, he has an ounce of mongrel about him  I also loved it when he once kicked a winning goal from 50mtrs in the pouring rain! Bring him on for the Eagles and give him a crack at retaining a spot! A big unit who doesn't take any crap - what more could we possibly want?  (ummm Baker!! ;) :D)
