Yes the is just have to hover the mouse over the little icons near their names for information about the play and if he is tagging a player or if he received a knock and his disposals it also gives you Dream Team and Super Coach scores

Fanfooty actually uses the afl.com.au one to update.

But I agree it is better because it mentions matchups, injuries, reports etc.
