I got the SMS too, and I don't think it was saying "see Harves and Roo on channel 7", but rather "See Harves. Signed, Roo".

"Mentions about Plugger being the best player."

Might consider a coaching job / staying at the club after retirement.


Also in footy news, T Wallace sent to hospital for breathing problems (?), but will be okay for the job this week.

will be sad to see the legend go but he has a family etc can see him being at the club for a long time yet still.

The difference is this time he agreed to do an interview on retirement. Doubt he has ever done that before. Could be wrong but to me it sounds like it will be his last year.

Now it's up to the Club, Coach and Players to tell him they want him to go on next season (if they really do).

I think this is a similar position to what he was in last year and he only changed his mind when RL told him he thought he could still contribute this season.

I reckon he is doing media now (Channel 7 and Before The Game) to increase his profile in the high likelihood he does retire.

On 7 he said he'd like to coach......if that is the case, he could do with a bit of a higher profile!

The reality is we don't look likely to win a flag this year, and probably not next year either, so he'll probably pull the pin.

Shame Round 22 is an away game and all the profits go to the scum!
