Re: Father Sons in the future
You stole my post . After thinking about all the sons of great players of yesterday running around today i was wondering where all ours are and was about to put the same post up.ralphysaints35 wrote:who in our passed loewe burke, jones, winmar, lockett etc has kids who could come up as father sons in the future
As far as I'm concerned these are the fathers who have sons who could be elegible for f/s. However boys such as Winmar's son and Peckett's eldest have no interest in pursuing a football career.
Stewie Loewe x1
Andrew Thompson x2
Robert Harvey x1
Justin Peckett x3
Stephen Milne x1
Max Hudghton x2
Nicky Winmar x1
Brett Voss x1

Apparently there is a Winmar who may be going for the draft this year, don't know about the relationship though.SaintBot wrote:As far as I'm concerned these are the fathers who have sons who could be elegible for f/s. Yeah but what about ALL the other players from the past eg Cunningham, Burns, Frawley, David Grant, Breen, Elphinstone, Shanahan etc etc etc all the talent we've had over the years and barely a son able to play at AFL level?SaintBot wrote:As far as I'm concerned these are the fathers who have sons who could be elegible for f/s. Guys
just throwing it out there. but wont father son become interesting with new developments in genetic science!
i mean where will the afl stand on ethical issues??
for instance michael roberts probably has a hundred kids sunning around bayside suburbs. do we claim them?
how many kids can geelong claim from sam newman?

Something to do with the perpetually cold showers at the Moorabbin ground.Winmar7Fan wrote: Yeah but what about ALL the other players from the past eg Cunningham, Burns, Frawley, David Grant, Breen, Elphinstone, Shanahan etc etc etc all the talent we've had over the years and barely a son able to play at AFL level?
