Very good. Things always look brighter with Lenny in the team
Good to see just the one change, i hope it stays that way and Schneider gets a run in the twos before making his return. I think he's a valuable member of our team but needs maybe just a week with Casey before coming back.
Good changes, Charlie had to make way, he was the weakest link.
Welcome back Lenny, keep up the form, 16 1st quarter touches would be nice

Looks like RL is going for the continuity approach, not wanting to disrupt team dynamics. In saying that, Allen is lucky to be still in the side, with Gardi taking his spot.

i guess the thinking is that if he can develop as a key forward it releases roo to wing or kosi to ruck.midas_touch wrote:Allen is lucky to be still in the side, with Gardi taking his spot.
agree that schneider and m. gardiner are probably in our best 22, but what sort of message would wholesale changes send after our best win for the season.

and i think balance comes into it here tooLooks like RL is going for the continuity approach, not wanting to disrupt team dynamics. In saying that, Allen is lucky to be still in the side, with Gardi taking his spot.
Kozi seems to perform much better down forward when he's given the chance to run around in the ruck a bit and last week it worked well
So Allen plays a big role in this and it seems that we get better balance and are more effective by not having all 3 of king/kozi/gardner in with blake up the sleeve as well
its an intresting situation and i think one they are still messing with on a weekly basis, particularly with regard to the opposition followers

Gee, it would be nice to know who was available and who wasn't.
Playing games with team selection is a complete joke - it has never won one game. All it does is serve to alienate the supporters.
What is hard about the club saying:
Michael Gardiner is fit to play, but we don't like him or he's too much of a risk or we really don't know what we are doing!
And Steven Baker? Let's forget about putting pressure on the opposition.
There is only one rule in picking teams - you continue to pick the BEST available despite what happened last week. It always works.
