IIRC there was a great deal of 'gnashing of teeth' when they didn't renew their sposorship deal with us.
It seemed to be the popular opinion of 'those in the know' that it was another case of RB failing to 'service the sponsor' and thus causing us to lose that sposnsor.
A few others were posting that it had little to do with RB and much more to do with the Company themselves.
Can you imagine the serious 'gnashing' if they were still our major sponsors this year and 'fell over' before they'd paid us the full amount?

Maybe Bev, but more likely the reason was exactly what the CLub and the Company gave at the time.
The Company decided to pull their sponsorship because 'having achieved their sponsorship objectives' they were 'moving into a new field of advertising/sponsorship'.
More than likely they were already having financial difficulties and didn't want to have the pressure of having to pay out 1 to 1.5 million cash on our sponsorship deal.
