don't worry, there stubborness clearly shows everyone that they have no clue, and therefore all their other opinions should be declared voidSainterone wrote:trolls don't apologise...
I'd like to be first to apologise to Milne

Yes Milne kicked 4 goals, our first then two game sealers late in the last quarter.
So some come on here and say he is a "star".
His first half performance was very ordinary except for running onto a Riewoldt (under pressure, accross the body) kick then running into an open goal, baulking on the line to evade a tackle.
The same traits which are of concern were still there - being caught behind and tackling.
He improved output after half-time, as most media Reports suggest but really that improvement was that he managed to get on the scoreboard - including twice in those last vital 10 minutes.
Kicking goals and being a "star" seem to go hand in hand - especially with the media and with some supporters.
Milne's game was only a very small start toward producing what is required from a specialist smal frward these days - saved by kicking a couple of goals at a vital stage in the dying minutes of the last quarter when the game was there to be won.
Focus on this takes the focus off where the game was actually won - by those defending with support, running thru the mid-field and puting the ball in advantageous positions for St Kilda and then the forwards for competing in the area - creating the oportunities for Milne to be fed as he was.

ON YA MILNEDOGGGGGG DID ME PROUD MATE
More than his goals i love his enthusiasm and the way he clearly loves this club, how pumped was he after the game!?
He played as a true small forward tonight and kicked those lovely specialist goals. Beautiful Stevie, i never had a doubt.

5 prelims in 7 years. 40 wins from 49 games.
2009 and 2010 were 2 of the 5 best years ever by the St.Kilda FC.
Thanks for all your efforts Saints.
