Harves highly critical of Saints!

Typical Herald Sun............

Robert Harvey blames St Kilda's flood
Sam Edmund | June 21, 2008 12:00am

FREMANTLE coach Mark Harvey last night blamed St Kilda for causing one of the ugliest games of the year in the Dockers' eight-point loss at Telstra Dome. Frustration etched all over his face, Harvey said the Saints instigated the mass flooding to drag the match into a low-scoring scrap.

"Our inability to be able to hurt them on the counter-attack, they wanted to play tempo football and flood and we couldn't pierce that," he said.

"It was an ugly game . . . and it was up for grabs, the game was there to be won."

Harvey cursed his side's inability to counter St Kilda's defensive mindset, which, at times, saw every Saints player inside the defensive 50m.

He would have to be The Worst Coach Ever!!

He looks for any excuse to divert the attention away from Him.

Let me paraphrase, "I was outcoached".

Was it RL's game plan that was instrumental in the win?

In a long kicking game would the saints have lost ?

Its about winning not being entertaining !

I couldn't see a flood in it?

we had too many possesions and most were not in the back half. Freo didnt even look like scoring, hard at it midfilders making them turn the ball over

i enjoyed the game, maybe it was because we won

If it wasn't for Pavlich , it would have been a "no contest".
He should look in is own backyard. Farmer couldn't have played a more selfish and undisciplined game. Any other coach would have acted by dragging him.
Anyway , I'm glad he wasn't dragged beacuse he was a liablilty to Freo , especially in the last quarter.

Do , or Do not , There is no try.

Yeah Farmer was running around looking for Stevie Baker.
He wanted to run into the back of Bakes again to show everyone back in Perth how committed he was.
Poor guy could not find Bakes anywhere.
That's why he appeared so lost.
Sorry Farmer, Bakes was out injured.
Maybe next time we play.

HAHA gold.

So basically he's blaming us that he told his team to flood? Even if we were it doesn't mean he has to do it... but i good coach would try something different, not just copy the other side.

Freo will never be any good with Harvey in charge & defending the likes of Farmer the wife basher.

A decent side would have axed him after his 25th arrest, not defended him to the hilt because he kicks a bag of goals twice a season.

That club will be in tatters when Pavlich finally leaves.
