Dal Santo should be in for Gwilt. I mean, how can Gwilt be in the team over Dal Santo?

There's no doubt Dal is a more talented player than both Blake and Gwilt.
The difference is that Blake tries his heart out every week, he often fails miserably, but he still tries and Gwilt is playing for his life.
If Dal Santo played with the same heart as Blake, he would be one of the marqee players of the competition.
In all honestly Dal should be dominating games and kicking 30 to 40 goals a season.
Unfortunately he got into a comfort zone and needs to get out of it.
He should have a hard look at Bartel and Ablett and how they turned their potential into reality.

"If Dal played with the same heart...." what an insult. What a truly moronic and pathetic comment.
Go follow another AFL team that 'tries' harder, rather than having the talent to win.

There is a religious story about brothers and how much they are given by their father. It basically says that if you are given more, more should be expected of you. Dal has been given a lot of talent and Ross believes he is not delivering on it. It is a big call cos I do not believe that Gwilt (for example) will play as well as Dal would. However, Ross is making a statement and best he make it now while he still can.

Birss? Very unlucky.
Geary very lucky to stay in after only a handful of touches last week.
Who will take Farmer? I've a feeling he's going to tear us a new one.

we have all seen players who seem to do it SO easy at times, who's to say because he appears to be giving 10% on the outside he's not giving 100% on the inside?3rd generation saint wrote:There's no doubt Dal is a more talented player than both Blake and Gwilt.

The fact that Blake is in the team and Dal Santo isn't...
Ross Lyon ought to be shot.
Dal has had a pretty decent month whereas Blake has been his usual rubbish self.
I can't believe it.
Lyon, you're finished. If the board has any balls, they will sack him. In fact, I'd sack him now. Give Mark Riley a go - can coach and has good man management skills. Can't believe he missed the Demons' gig last year.
I know that's over the top, but seriously, I don't know how else to convey he has no idea.

Is it just Ross Lyon's decision on the team or a panel???
