How so. People on here assured us with the new fitness guys that everything would be fixed and the previous problems were due to GT having to much say and a poorly managed board. Are you trying to tell me that people got it wrong ojn this forum. No way. Doesnt happen.longtimesaint wrote:It doesn't say a lot for the new injury management team we heard a lot about pre season.
We seem to have as many injuries (particularly soft tissue) as ever.

if Dal Santo gets dropped, then Ross Lyon will officially be acknowledging that he has no idea about coaching, and all arguments against that fact will be futile58ter wrote:I wouldn't post something that was untrue, the source is very close to the situation, hopefully montagna is given a reprieve
but i don't think Ross is that dumb, my bet is IF a big name is getting dropped, it should be Montagna or Gram

If he'd had the aggots to drop Dal a month ago the season may look a bit different right now.
Montagna deserves an extended run at Casey too.
Gram has improved out of sight over the last 3 weeks since he's been played in a more suitable position.
You simply cannot have an underperforming team with underperforming key players that have no pressure on them to work harder & find their form. The fact that the weekly ins & outs always seem to be based around the same 6-7 fringe players/youngsters did nothing to improve the team. It just means fringe players are always the scapegoats & the blokes who are cruising get off scot free.
I 100% agree with Dal's omission. Give him a tagging job at Casey for a fortnight & only promote him when he is capable of showing respect to an opponent. Joey should go to & get some run back in his legs & kick some goals.

underpreforming?!?!
Dal's averaging 22 disposals and 4 tackles and 4 inside 50's a week, plus has 8 goals and 7 goal assists
if thats underpreforming and constitues being dropped, then EVERY player barre Lenny Hayes and Sam Fisher are lucky to be playing this week
worst decision ever.
