Ratten is getting the fruits of a team finishing down the bottom just as Grant Thomas did. Like with the players GT was gifted, Ratten has been gifted a team with alot of young talent, and only time will tell until they are pushing for regular finals appearances. If Ratten plays his cards right and learns from the mistakes that GT made with list management then unfortunately they may be up the top end for some time.twirlyhair wrote:Carlton are now a much better team than us. Boring. We're both missing out on the finals this year.Backwards Fast wrote:Ratten is getting the fruits of a team finishing down the bottom just as Grant Thomas did. Yeah a bit harder than playing against a first year player...saintsRrising wrote:Today just reinforced how important the "head" is in football.
However Fev will find it a bit harder against Max.
whoopie ... we should thank god that Max is more seasoned than Nathan Brown from Collingwood...
Yeah, I'll rest easy with your worthless comments
FFS do you really need to post on everything???
Some of your comments are worthless and its any wonder you have ranked up 13,425 posts...
Don't wait for the light at the end of the tunnel to appear, run down there and light the bloody thing yourself!

I dont think Carlton will make the finals this season to be honest, but their list is certainly starting to look alot healthier, and that is what years of mediocrity will do for you. Three number one draft picks in a row, it was only a matter of time before they started to rise.degruch wrote:Boring. I would rather them finish around 9-10 than bottom 2 though, therefore not scooping the draft pool again

Brown, and O' Brien. O'Brien had failed in the past, so they really didn't have any options. Fev won't get 15 shots at goal on Max.St Fidelius wrote:Yeah a bit harder than playing against a first year player...saintsRrising wrote:Today just reinforced how important the "head" is in football.

We have 16 flags won through hard work, good coaching and good management. The Fireman wrote:One flag, yes , honestly as opposed to your cheating club, I would rather follow an honest club than a bunch of cheats anyday.Footflowers wrote: Good to hear you're happy to follow honest infighters like St Kilda and have one flag in your cabinet.
I tip my hat to St Kilda.
So you should dip your hat, we follow a club that has battled honestly through the good times and the bad ones, you follow dishonesty and should be ashamed of yourself monobrow.
So on that alone we will always be better than the cheating scum they call Carlton.
You don't become that good by cheating.
You've battled through the hard times and you're still not good enough, so what are you proud of?
Your theme song should be always look on the bright side of life, because you're dying on the cross with a smile on your face and enjoying it.
I have no monobrow, so stop inferring that I'm a wog and that's a bad thing.
I'd be less of a man if I had a monobrow like the Clarkes.
