Are things stable???
Over the past few months there have been a number of rumours and talk about the inner workings of the club.
These are in regards to:
*Captains chosen
* Respect shown by players to coach
* Work environment down at the club
* Players not feeling respected
and the list seems to go on. Now my question is even if half the stuff we hear is true do we have a serious problem down at the club. Over the last 2 1/2 years more and more info regarding the team and operations have been let out by different sources whether they are true or not are a different matter. The point is that there are a number of people who hear this stuff including the media! It was only over the weekend that i heard that supposedly all things are not perfect between Lyon and Hutinson(spl) due to a number of reasons.
This stuff should be kept in house but they aren't people are getting a hold of this and letting it go. Is this a sign that there needs to be steps implemented to help stop this from occurring...what can be done?
Why is it that this club seems to be more effective at playing the game of politics rather than the game of AFL?

Greg Hutchinson, I think he's the Scorpions coach.
Hadn't heard this... but if you think about it... we are leaving the Scorps, so you'd imagine this would inevitably cause some sort of tensions. Even if people went into the process hoping it would be as smooth as possible.

Supposedly has more to do with the relationship between the coaches rather than future affiliations.

Howbout you coach us Mr Pluggermetriou?plugger66 wrote:Has been one and got sacked so may be a chance with us.spert wrote:I think Hutchinson would be a pretty AFL good coach from what I've seen of his efforts at Casey so far.
You seem to have all the right answer and play a very straight bat, always honest and too the point, never sarcastic
i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.
Not available and it a conflict of interest coaching the saints and running the AFL. Also havent got the time as I am a member of every clubs website so I can spread the word on how good the AFL are running footy. Funnily enough the Hawks, Cats and Dogs think it is being run very well.saintspremiers wrote:Howbout you coach us Mr Pluggermetriou?plugger66 wrote:Has been one and got sacked so may be a chance with us.spert wrote:I think Hutchinson would be a pretty AFL good coach from what I've seen of his efforts at Casey so far.

My question to everyone on here is this:
Does anybody know if the players current lack of enthusiasm and energy as mentioned by Ross Lyon during his post match press conferfence after the Swans game on Saturday night have anything to do with the rumours mentioned in the OP?
Is there a problem at the club that gives rise to Ross Lyons comments that the players are lacking enthusiasm and energy. Does anybody have any insight?

wasn't he a caretaker coach between balme and daniher. Therefore he wasn't sacked so to speak, just not hired as a full time coach.....plugger66 wrote:Has been one and got sacked so may be a chance with us.spert wrote:I think Hutchinson would be a pretty AFL good coach from what I've seen of his efforts at Casey so far.
