Akermanis...
Remeber how he cut us to ribbons in R3? Now, as a coach what would have you done differently on Sunday. Would you have played a rookie on him in parts? Done something different?
It was only EIGHT weeks ago he pretty much won the game for them off his own boot ffs! Totally incompetance from the box.
Now how about some suggestions, or tear me a new one, your call.

Gram played on him initially and did a great job but in the second he gave
Aker too much latitude. Geary was soundly beaten but I think he showed
something in the last with some rebound from defence. You could have
played Fisher on him but we would have lost any drive we did have.
Not only that but defensively Fisher isn't the greatest. He is far more
effective creating from defence.
Also in round 3 Cooney, Griffin, Gilbee, Boyd and others were better players
against us than Aker

Yeah those other guys certainly smashed us in R3. Aker still popped up with some critical goals just at the right time though.
Its just with all the rotation on Aker , cause nothing was working ( I totally lost track), it reeks of non-planning, or improper planning to me.
Aker is never one this year at least that should slip through the cracks. Should be a plan A , B and C, and a long shot plan D if needed.

roves the pack better than most and not only that .....halleluyah ..he can kick em from set shots when he's supposed to.
Why didnt we consider him when he was looking to come to Melbourne ??? Might have been a small matter of how we treat our own !!!

My behaviour is considered acceptable in some far off remote exotic countries...

We probably couldnt get him but most people on here said we wouldnt want someone like him anyway. Same thing they said about Judd. Looks like most here are good judges.St.Kenny wrote:roves the pack better than most and not only that .....halleluyah ..he can kick em from set shots when he's supposed to.
