I'll have a crack at this on brat's behalf:plugger66 wrote:1. I write alot of crap but why do start up crap posts.
2. When will you break the posting record.
3. Dont you get sick of starting posts without any real imput.
4. i am going to cop it for this post as you seem popular Saintbrat but as John Kennedy would say this give us something.
1. Possibly the same reason
2. Might be hard to do with Teflon defending the coach.
3. A bit of levity is the traditional method of coping with our clubs success. Although lately, terminal sarcasm has become more common.
And John Kennedy was a good coach, but his post count was pathetic.
*Allegedly.

Last I hear the club psychologist was Dr. Richard Anderson (could be wrong so happy for anyone to correct me). It would be interesting to get his take on what ails the current list. Although confidentiality rules may prohibit him from commenting on specific issues, it would be fascinating to hear what his level of involvement currently is.

1. if i am going to abuse peoples posts i should spell correctly?plugger66 wrote:1. I write alot of crap but why do start up crap posts.

2. who cares how many posts everyone has? (ohhhh status)?
3. a '?' usually follows a question.
who cares what she posts ffs.....
These questions hit kinda close to home for me. (I don't need to bore you with the details why). But... I do want to say that I don't think a psychologist can see someone 'too much'. If you're really struggling emotionally, the healthiest thing to do is get help. And if that means seeing a helping professional of some kind (psychologist, social worker, doctor, psychiatrist)... and seeing them often....then so be it. There is no shame in admitting that you need help, or getting it!
Having said that, my questions would be:
1. To what extent do you think that a lack of confidence on-field is an issue that should be addressed at an individual level or a group level?
2. What kind of techniques are you using - eg behaviour modification, cognitive restructuring, meditation, etc?
