Aka: "Best 1st Quarter side in the comp"
Aka just said that the Saints are the best 1st quarter side in the comp. That was really interesting to me -- thinking about it, we have had some great starts this year (both against the Dogs and the Cats, those games come to mind).

Yeah bingo, spot on.LENNY LEADS THE WAY wrote:Does this mean Ross is a good coach thru the week and sets up great plans but is poor on game day and can't counter act when his plans are figured out and spoiled?
Food for thought i reckon
The other teams coach realizes exactly what were doing during the first quarter, changes what they're doing, and even though our players are playing with the intensity of the first quarter, they just can't match it with the oppositions game plan.

Agreed, the dogs have developed about 10 players that can rotate through the midfield....we rely on a few...do not have the depth in rotation.....
starting group cannot SUSTAIN the effort.....
2nd tier exposed
Our skills fall away
we have too many poor players covered by the elite.......
until they can not SUSTAIN.....etc
not the game plan (for fall away) otherwise WHY such a good start???
