Its been happening for years but it still amuses me the way footy speak has evolved to the point where a group of up and coming young players are put into the 'singular plurals' grouping...
Gary Ayers at Adelaide was the king with his "you've got your Harts, your Riccuto's and your McLeod's"
The Saints of recent times have done well with our "Dal Santo's our Montagna's and our Balls" which really should have given us a tougher image than we have.
I can't think of another code who use this line of talk so well... I mean you have your cricket's your soccer's and your rugby's but they aren't even close
