You are an outright liar.

And whenever you're pulled up on it, you refer back to your Debating for Dummies book and weasel out of it.

Stop lying in attempts to prove that you were right about GT being no good, and I'll stop pulling you up on it.

GT made you look silly and you're still, 2 years on, trying to convince the footy forum world that you aren't a diickhead. It's not working.

You were wrong. Move on.

You're a liar.

PM me if you want to take it further, but please stop lying and back peddling on what was quite a reasonable thread.

Saints43 wrote:Imagine there had been an incident at a night club the previous night involving St Kilda players. GT told all players "If you are contacted directly by a journalist today I will deal with it. We're keeping this in-house"

It could have happened for any number of reasons and may have happened only once.

It might have been a very good use of the head coaches time. It might have been five minutes work to save days of media frenzy.

If GT was such a control freak surely Mike could have written 'every time I call a St Kilda player GT rings me back'.

Interesting theory......however this is Robery Harvey we are talking about here......Mr Clean....we are not talking about Fev, Stevie Lawrence etc etc.. If Mike was looking for dirt on Harvey I think he would have been looking for a long long time.

Now you may be correct.....in which case very very odd that Sheahan just made it all up....and I am not talking about the the one instance here or the one phone conversation...but rather as to what he percieved GT was doing in supervising players with respect to media.

Now your opinion may be yes this is what a head coach should be doing. If so fair enough, thoug my opinion is different.

What time was it?

Was it 'out of hours'?

Was Harves' weighing up his future at the time?

Did Harves' ask GT to take care of it?

You have no idea.

Yet another pathetic attempt to pot the bloke who has made you look foolish with your ramblings about his ability as a coach.

Hey, here's a tip for you - if you really need some more ammo and are running of criticisms, why not give Patrick Smith a call? He's another who 2 years on, is still trying to deflect the fact that he was wrong about GTs ability as a coach.

For example Rodge:

Here is post where I have proven one of your lies about me:

Also as I have posted in the past GT was good in some areas, average in some and poor in others.....so again in your post you seek to mislead people with false information.

Now Rodger....35000 posts? You would not be lying would you that I have written 35000 posts on this?

Because if you have to be word verbatim...then you are obviously lying....

Or is Rodgerfox allowed to post differently to everyone else? Once again you area hypocrite...something else I have exposed before.

I mean I know that you seek to bait and that this is your real intent.......but by the standards where you imply that other posters must be 100% accurate your own words indicate that you choose to lie..and do so freely in the knowledge that what you are posting is not correct.

Sorry Rodge...I missed your reply on why you are allowed to lie?

Have I actually written 35000 posts on this or were you lying?

My question is a bit pedantic perhaps.....but you state I am lying on the basis that answering a voicemail...is not answering ...

Whereas when you wrote what you posted above you with full knowledge knew it to not be true....so using YOUR supposed standards...you are a lier.

Why not???....it was my opinions at the time. Whether they were right, wrong, silly or accurate you can form your own opinion on.

We all post things on this forum which are later proven to be wrong (or right)..like recently when you essentially posted that the Trevor Barker Oval was under the jurisdication of the City of Kingston. Where you lying? No of course not. You were just mistaken or had misrembered. No sin in that. We all have made posts like that.

I posted the other day the name of Royal when I meant another assistant coach. Was I lying no? I just wrote the wrong name.

Many forumites including I have made predications about all sorts of matters which have not come to pass. Were we lying? = No. Not even when it was largely rose colored glasses coloring our view.

The point of raising the post is that Rodger likes to write posts of what I have supposedly written in the past which are simply not the case...all this from a guy that likes to accuse people of lying in his posts

That string demonstrates one such occurance.

I have no problems posters having pots shot at me, or arguing different points of view. MB does it all the time for example and while we disagree often and have often vastly different views on things there is no real bad blood. Just different views often argued hard.

It is a forum, and different views are to be expected.

Sometimes it might be easier to simply say "I don't know" or "I was wrong".

That's your problem.

You fabricate and then when it's proven you don't admit you were wrong.

I hate to rain on your parade...but I have often posted that "I was wrong".

I can for example think of two examples this week:

Once when I wrote Royal's name........and once when I missed reading Hudson's name in the stats sheet.

Now what this mean's JD is that you have written someting about me which is not true. I will not say you are lying, I will just assume that you did not happen to read those or other strings in the past.

Is this perhaps an instance when you will post "I was wrong"???

I don't think you were fabricating facts in either of those instances.

There's a difference between a geniune mistake and blatant lying.

I'm surprised you can't see the difference.

I can and do see the difference.

I don't fabricate facts JD..

If you can find an example of me blatantly lying, or fact fabricating as you put it, I invite you to post it.

If you cannot back up your claim here and now, then you will be exposed as having absolutely no integrity whats so ever.

Jesus . . . you do take this seriously don't you?

If you want an example outside of the crap in this thread, then look no further than your claim that GT threw a game.

Even when I posted his actual quotes you still kept pushing the line.

Actually there's hardly an issue to do with the previous coach where you don't post what are at best a guess, as facts.

I think from memory that what I said was that GT deliberately lost a game. This has quite a different meaning from your more colorful "threw" a game which woud imply that GT was on the take..

GT said in his post match interview that he could have flooded and won the game.

He consciously chose not to and we lost.

Therefore GT chose to lose....with his rationale being that finals teams do not play that way.

Deliberately losing a game has a different meaning to throwing a game?

Yes..one is by incompetence.....or by making a bad decision.

The other would be by being on the take, like accepting a bribe , or by having bet on the result and so seeking to influence the result. I have never said hat GT was on the take.

Now thats odd....I just went back and re-read that string....as I could not remember you having posted actual quotes from GT in that string....and would have been interested to read them.

Only problem is JD is that there are no such quotes from you in that string.

Funny how you have stated that I kept posting in reply to quotes that you did not post.???????????

Maybe you can explain this puzzle JD?

String....

Someone writes a first post (often called a OP or originating post).

Other posters then reply with additional posts.

The collective whole is often referred to as a string.

Surely you're having a lend of me now?

"String"?

Now I've heard it all.

FWIW, if we are talking about the same thread then yes I did post GT's quote. If I could be bothered I'd find it but given your "deliberately losing a game has a different meaning to throwing a game" comments I see little point.

I'm starting to worry that you're actually enjoying having your pants pulled down and having your arse kicked.

I have read this whole thread and it is not SrR who had their pants pulled down.

The more I read the ridicule and vitriol toward SrR by a number of posters the more it was obvious who had been owned.

Just my opinion of course, but it was very interesting the way the insult level rose as more of SrR's points struck home.

Nice work of SrR not to take the bait from the usual suspect who has a habit of resorting to personalising and smokescreens and deflection when cornered. Oh well nice to see he didn't resort to the usual shrill screams of scrotum et al.

Also interesting his calls for Lyons sacking has become somewhat mute since the admin has backed the caoch.

Carry on.

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

If....ah I see it is "If" now.....it is too late JD it is not if at all. No it is THE thread JD. The one where I raised the game where GT's self-admitted failure to flood cost us the game.

Odd then that there is no such post in that "thread" of you with "actual GT quotes".
