I hope we win. Those cocky dimwit dogs fans( I picture the sterotypical ugly massively overweight fan they seem to attract), are already discussing how to buy GF tickets! At round 11! Knobends.
If we start now, and kick straight, ie we don't hit the post or kick a straight point, then we might build up enough of a lead to hold off the Dogs.
It will be mistake riddled vs mistake free.
I don't particularly like Eade, but he gets his teams to use the ball to the best of their ability. Thomas derided skills practice and Lyon hasn't improved on this.
I heard it was really a disciplinary thing... why else would you drop him? He's a very handy player....
He just needs to knuckle down in the reserves.
Geez, look who's pointing the finger.
I thought he nailed it....
If he makes a decent enough fist of it in the magoos he can stick it up the selectors and have the fans eating out of his hand... and we'll all be up in arms if he's not reappointed to the side then.
I remember a game in 2006 -we smashed the hapless Hawks - probably the worst team in the competition at the time and then came out and belted top four contedner the magpies the following week. We were all saying at the time - "A win over the magpies and I'll believe we are back"
I'm not confident about this weekend, but I certainly think we have a chance to at least put some real pressure on them. Let's hope some birthday luck form me can get us over the line. We've lost two, won two and no-resulted one on my birthday since I've been supporting.

I agree Mark. If he wants to get the thumbs up from the selectors, he will have to shoulder the responsibity; no palming it off elsewhere. However, if he doesn't get in there and get his hands dirty, he will deservedly find himself on the bench twiddling his thumbs.
I'm sure we can beat the Dogs on our day, we'll have to be very good but we can do it, but I don't believe for a second that we can maintain the kind of consistency required to string a few very good performances together.

(how many more do we have in us?)
Fair points...
His lack of accountability sticks out like a sore thumb... opponents too often run rings around him and just rack up the digits... I could count on one hand the times he's worn an opponent like a glove this year, and it's been very hard to watch...
