Banner Round 10 - We ARE the mighty Saints
Just putting it out there, could we simply say something like:
We ARE the mighty Saints!
or
We are behind you - Make us proud!
or something to show that we support the boys - nothing witty and clever - just honest heartfelt support! Let the players know that at the end of the day they should be able to look down at the jumper and know that they deserve to be wearing the mighty RED, WHITE and BLACK tri-tripes.
After all - WE ARE THE MIGHTY SAINTS - all of us - not just RL and his charges - WE - the supporters, the fans, the barrackers, the ones who bleed for the club.
Lets remind OUR sainters why we go to the game - make some noise!

I understand your pain - I feel it too
But do you really want the last thing the boys reading before they go out onto the ground to be negative????
Let them know we are behind them as true SAINTERS - maybe we can be positive in the stands to help bring some positive vibes onto the ground - to give them back their self-belief!!!!

We've been asked to go along to the banner making nights if we want to contribute slogans. St. Dooley said that in a post about a week ago, or so.
I hope people who can, do so.
Good luck, and thanks, to the die-hards who do this work all the time.
Cheers

Mark - when and where are the banner making nights?
Can you attend? - Coz if you cant - please post your thoughts here - I have loved reading them in the past!!!!!!
Some of us may be able to - others may be able to inject some positive thoughts before the night - I am sure that some contribution before a big think tank session may help.
But aside from that - My OP was to try and inject some positive thoughts - I love the Sainters - I need a life (lol) - and I want to give what I can.

I live in the US now... so I can't attend the meetings.
I understand that St. Dooley was involved in collecting submisisons, but he is taking a break from donig that now. So it's my understanding that people are just encouraged to go to the meetings to make suggestions.
I don't know what nights they are - I think the night changes depending on what day/night the game is. You'd have to ask someone who's more involved than me.
And thanks for your comments about my past suggestions - I was just trying to do my bit!
