Whilst we are listing coaches we don't want, can I add Denis Pagan to the list?
Neale Daniher is the one I'd go after. He got a very average group of footballers to play at a very high standard for a number of years.
As long as he didn't bring his Big Dipper roller coaster with him.
See what happens as the end of the season.

Poster formerly known as SENsaintsational. More wisdom. More knowledge. Less name.
Sheedy is a brilliant football mind and he is a genius wrt ideas (how many of his 'fruity ideas' came to pass?)
but I think his time as a match day coach is gone.
Folks close to Essendon reckon his focus was way off towards the end.

FWIW I think Aussie would be a good coach. Has the correct attributes however I would prefer to have someone who has spent at least two seasons as an assistant/manager at an AFL club. As far as I'm concerned Aussie coached a local/country club and is now coaching Sandringham Dragons U18s.
