The Bus is about to Crash
In hindsight Riewoldts speech at last years best and fairest is coming back to haunt the club.
Again in hindsight it was a fairly cocky statement to say during that speech that the new administration had talked the talk and now needed to deliver. Well Nick, they are delivering, but the team isn't.
Obviously everyone got on that bus but who the hell knows where it’s going.

Appropriately I went to the Werribee Open Range Zoo today with children and was on the bus when the game was on.
To get on the bus we had to pay our way.
We had to turn off communications to the outside world (I guessed because of depressing interaction, as per fan forums)
The doors closed on us and we were a team, entrapped in that bus for the next couple of hours.
Ron the coach driver could only advise us what to do, yet we were entirely in his hands.
Ron had the wheel, he had the accelerator, and he had the brake. If Ron (OMG Ross maybe?) had wanted to throw us out at any stage he could have, because he was the boss.
If Ron had wanted us to take more photo's and be more involved, rather than just be passengers, Ron could have made us do that too.
But Ron was happy with the way we were cruising along because it was the routine that his particular bus was used to, and that bus accepted it.
Ron was in control once we crossed the line into the wild. But not once did he, nor would he, do anything that would contradict his previous treks. Because he was a safe driver.
As we passed the Lions I recalled that my team was up against those lazy critters today.
So I defiantly turned my phone on and messaged a mate for a score.
Then I went home.
Thanks Ron.

Melbourne will not beat us.Saints-06-Premiers wrote:Have you watched Melbourne lately? They'll beat us.hotdish wrote:I know we are all gutted at the moment, but get a grip!
Season is not over, and we have melbourne, the worst team in the AFL next week at home.
Back to 5-5 and season still on track to finish in the 8.
If they do, it will illustrate that RL has lost the players. if we lose to Melbourne we will sack him, no doubt.

Great, lest make sure we lose then and just get rid of the idiot. Ill cop a loss for that. Yeah yeah, were going to be a laughing stock again, but Ill take that to get headed in the right direction again at least. RL will take us absolutely no where.hotdish wrote:Melbourne will not beat us.Saints-06-Premiers wrote:Have you watched Melbourne lately? hotdish, its nice to see someone who still believes, but Melbourne will most likely beat us this weekend, they play with heart and spirt..
WE DON'T.. the season is over, we are not good enough, we are not contenders, we are only pretenders.
sorry.

Roo plays better when he hasn't been rushed back and is playing injured. Damn I wish this forum wasn't so well moderated.Bernard Shakey wrote:Roo's speech was great.
He was shite this week.
Lenny is the spiritual leader of this club and should be captain.
Roo plays better when the responsibility is not weighing on his shoulders.
LOL It was always a token gesture because of the Gold Coast team lurking. And depending on where we are in two years time, he may still be captain.Bernard Shakey wrote:Roo's speech was great.

Personally I reckon with the Captain's Injury Curse, let's make big Rixy captain.
