Even the Opposition know this ...........
Defensive coach Justin Leppitsch said Brisbane believed St Kilda was a tougher opponent when it produced a more attacking game plan.
"When they move the ball quickly they're dangerous, they give their forwards plenty of space," he said. "They (have) very good marking players ... we've probably had good performances against them over a period of time here, but their best is (still) very good."

Collingwood Geelong stat : "The statistic that mattered most was the tackle count - 84 to 49." Collingwood put them under pressure "
"I thought the St Kilda game served us well, it was a pretty tough game. The Saints are renowned for their one-on-one bodies-on-bodies, and it was a good lead-in to this game."

We have the two leading tacklers in the entire league - Hayes (60) and Ball (50). But the problem is that our tackling numbers drop off a long way, after that. Montagna's next, on 28 (equal 48th in the league).
For the record, Bartel, after the Pies game, has moved to equal second in the league.

Shows you what kind of level you need to be to win the brownlow. Hayes and Ball match him for tackling, but after that, they're a long way behind in every other stat.markinUSA wrote:We have the two leading tacklers in the entire league - Hayes (60) and Ball (50).
