Hopefully he can teach Kosi the death stare and then work on all their kicking.

Well he has always been very vocal when the ball is not being delivered well enough...... So maybe he has something to give.

Also , his goal kicking was always reasonable

i say give him a go coz whoever is doing the job now is p1ss poor !

Well, I was going to say that maybe he could assist in developing a new forward structure but then I realised that this would presuppose that we have a forward structure to begin with.

There must be a better strategy than 'kick it to Milne'. All it needs is some genius to figure out what it should be.

he has been the best natural to have played for us since lockett so he knows a bit about how to get a score on the board.

in all seriousness we could do a lot worse.

out: barker.
in: gehrig.

The main thing is we know barker is to blame for the midfield and backline holding on to it to long. Yes sack barker even though RL rates hime people on this forum dont so time to get rid of him.

It's called an opinion, i'm allowed to have one. Just because it differs from yours, doesn't mean it's wrong.

Barker should be working with forward setup as well as delivery into the forward 50. As far as I can see, we don't have the results on the board.

Does this come down to the players? Maybe, if there's one or two underperforming. However, our output is down across the board, especially goals kicked by players who are considered "forwards". The onus was (and is) on John Barker to turn it around, and to the current day he has failed.

Of course Ross Lyon is going to come out and support him, he NEEDS Ross's support to maintain his working environment. Is it any different from the board coming out and saying "we are 100% behind the current coach" and then sacking them 2 weeks later?

When someone says you have their full confidence and support, you know you are in big trouble and the axe is being sharpened.
Otherwise they would not have felt the need to say anything at all.

agreed...barker is terrible and his terribleness has infected the term with his termed barkeration where everyone around him gets s***...
