zero impact

Post: # 567921Post st_Trav_ofWA »

tonight we had too many with zero impact

Gtrain (not to his fault the delivery to him was just plain shithouse)
Shnider (honymoon is over now you gotta earn your possesions )
Charlie (ditto starting to show why he couldnt fit in the geelong side )
kosi (perhaps the presure to perform got to him although he did bring others into the game )

thank god for Maxy Lenny Ball joey & Dal the only thing to keep us alive .

i think one of M gardy better games as a saint showed glimps of the agro he once had
Blake was wonderful and Grammy did look better (although i would still love to see him go harder at the man and make a tackle stick )

all in all i prefered watching this weeks loss over the negative footy much more entertaining

if we can hit targets by foot and not do stupid mistakes we could beat anyone .

one glareing differance from us to the filth is the ability to kick a goal from a set shot from 45 out the filth have two options when they mark around the 50 eaither a look for a better closer option or be slot it ... we look for a better closer option or go backwards cause we cant make the distance !! annoys the crap out of me !!

i tell u what, u posters that say a player is average after they have kept a good chf to bugger all need to really learn some skill and tactics of the game called afl.

everyone makes blues, christ lenny had a couple of costly clangers last night, but how much impact did cloke (blakes opponent) have on the game.?

Blake did a decent job on Cloke - but Cloke is massively out of form.

Blake missed an easy set shot - no surprise, butchered the ball, gave away stupid awkward free kicks with high tackles and in the backs, and generally put in a performance we've come to expect of him - he's crap

And C Gardiner, Schneider, L fisher not far behind him
Raph went missing too

Blake beat Cloke pointless. What more can he do. He isnt a star but the guy said he was worse that Clarke, Schneider and Gardiner. Well from where I was sitting he was much better than those guys.

your joking right !!!
seriously take off the i hate Blake badge and watch the game as it is

cloake could of killed us but instead he was tailed by blake all night he gave away a few frees to him but they were never in a possiton where he could hurt us
blake was wonderful tonight
he butchered that shot on goal but lenny also butcherd two of his own
plus he got to the possision to have a shot on goal while playing a negating role on a dangerious forward serioulsy you neeed to watch the game without bias a bit more

Agree Plugger, Blake did a fantastic job on Cloke who could not have been too out of form to have made the Vic Squad.

I didn't agree with Blakes selection because I thought we'd come far enough with him and he was not going to take us further. I'm now eating humble pie (Gratefully) because he did a brilliant job last night, probably a lot better than Goose, in his current form, could have done.

He's nothing if not resilient and adaptable is our Blake, good on him, he shows some heart which is all I ever ask of someone who pulls on the red white and black jumper!

Correct. Even though Cloke is out of form, Blake still had to do the job required.
