move to frankston
you might need to use your imagination a bit for this one.
club is moving to frankston as we all know. why not for a couple of years after that, aim to use frankston oval like geelong use kardinia park?
build enough stands to hold enough of our supporters. we could actually have that "home ground advantage" that all the interstate sides and geelong have.
make frankston oval a place that no other side wants to play at because they know they cannot win.
and also makes it easy for me to walk to the games

Won't happen.
The ground is too small.
Moorabbin was a better prospect to develop into a boutique ground, but we kissed that goodbye 15 years ago.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

No.
We have no connection with Frankston.
Should have kept Moorabbin for our matches against Interstate teams plus Melb and North.
We can't seem to beat Port anywhere.
But if we had been playing them at Moorabbin that would all be different.
A home ground advantage is what makes the Interstate teams always there-abouts.
We gave that advantage away 16 years ago.

They were offered that possibility at Casey Fields, however there is just simply not enough space at Frankston to do the same.danners wrote:you might need to use your imagination a bit for this one.

Frankston takes ages to get to from anywhere but.... Frankston. Telstra dome is a very convenient location for footy. Although i would like the occasional outing to the MCG now and then, will be over a 10 month gap since we last played there.
I'd prefer if the club's training ground remained at moorabin.
