Community Coaching Development Night
Calling all coaches! – Former AFL Coach, Grant Thomas, joins the Sandringham Dragons in conducting a Community Coaching Development Night for all current football coaches in the region.
Thomas will conduct a two-hour session for anyone who has an interest in football development on Wednesday 21 May from 7:00pm. Entry is $20 per person including a light supper.
Auskick through to senior coaches will fill the room to discuss all things football and coaching.
Thomas will talk about the role of coaches in football, the development of the game and his own coaching experiences followed by an opportunity for questions from the audience.
The Sandringham Dragons Community Coaching Night will be the first of a series in 2008, helping to build a stronger understanding and knowledge base for coaches, footballers, clubs and leagues in the Dragons region.
The Sandringham Dragons, governed by AFL Victoria, is an elite development program for junior footballers in the Bayside/South-East region.
Graduates of the Sandringham Dragons include current AFL stars Chris Judd, Luke Ball and Tom Hawkins.
