Adrian Anderson - time for your first "official warning

Post: # 561178Post saintspremiers »

Mr Anderson has had a bad few weeks......the 19th man fiasco, two games in two weeks with terrible time keeping errors, and these are just the "black and white" errors!

Anderson runs footy operations, so is ultimately responsible for the above three incidents.

He runs the show totally reactively and can't seem to get on the front foot, ever!

At least when Demetriou was in that role things seemed to flow more smoothly under a person who demanded control, but under Anderson it's a totally rudderless ship.

Time for the commission/Demetriou to give him an official warning, and make a stand against all this incompetence.

Thoughts??

Lawyers rarely make good administrators because they are trained to see each problem as unique and special and therefore don't appreciate the need for consistency in decision-making.

More and more Anderson finds himself fronting the media to say why - while situation A and situation B appear on the surface to be identical - they are actually totally different. He is clearly a bit dim, and now seems to lost whatever ability he ever had to see the wood for the trees.

The decision not to take 2 points off the Swans for having a 19th man on the field was a total shocker. When you do something that makes Tim Lane feel sorry for the Sainters, you should realise that you must have stuffed-up big time.

Puts his reasons forward as if he was arguing in court. In addition, they are based often on flimsy logic and technicalities rather than common sense.

Net effect is to sound as if he's in hios own reality, out of touch and making it up as he goes along.

Agree - no consitency.
