Livewire this Saturday Night!

Post: # 558127Post saint patrick »

Have been getting my priorities all wrong and working too bloody hard and are yet to see any live footy this year...good value out of my AFL membership

Will make up for it this week ...gioing to the G for the Filth/ Hawks game then across to the Dome for crunch time for the Saints :x

Will be at livewire early and wondered who I can share a pregame frothy with...apart from Eastern who I believe lives at Livewire...

And apparently this time it really is his shout

Will try to get there for the first time.

How about we buy our own drinks or that too radical?

Just a curious question, is Livewire accessible by everyone? (I'm 16).

Hi Darren,MY understanding is that Livewire is like a bistro or pub .You can be there but you must be with an adult[took my kids there before they were 18] and obvoisly not drinking anything alcoholic...hope to see you there soon

My mates kids go in there all the time on their own and they are only 14 so if you must be with an adult they dont police it.

Interesting.

Does he know they go in there?

Does he let them go into the local pubs where he lives?

I would have thought that under licensing laws kids had to be with an adult, pretty sure that's right re Livewire.

But more to the point, my 14 y.o. son wouldn't be going into licensed premises without me or another responsible adult.

I've heard that Eastern shouts at least twice at Livewire every game.

When he gets there he shouts "Who's buying me a beer" & when he leaves he shouts "You'd better buy me one next game".
