Forwards last week

Post: # 557795Post spert »

I was out of town, deep in the bush on the weekend, so I didn't see any reports of the match against PA. As our score was pretty crap, I was curious how these guys played:
Milne
Charlie G
Kozi
Ball
XClarke
??

Thanks, but it's heavy going trying to get a consistant result from what posts I have tried to read while digging back into the forum.
I do presume that at least Milne, Kosi, Charlie G and XClarke as part of the forward line, had absolutely bugger-all effect. It's a bit hard to kick winning scores if four forwards don't contribute.

It's a bit hard for forwards to contribute if they don't get decent service.

1st Q when we did have the ball our delivery was disgusting, so bad that I wondered if we had one of blight's so called 'bad' balls. After that got closed down around the ball with port winning the ruck and playing very accountably.

It's a shame ignorance isn't painful

Thanks for the report - what worried me is when the ball spills to ground and our forwards do little to get possession or pressure the ball carrier.

milney 11 touches 1 behind should have done a lot more really, quite average.
charlie 15 touches 3 tackles earned a free, average
kozi 11 touches 11 hit outs (same a rix) 6 contested possessions, 2 goals tried hard.
bally 16 touches (8 contested 8 uncon) 6 inside 50's 2 clearances 5 tackles
worked hard and tried i thought.
x man 12 touches (9 were uncontested) 5 inside 50's 3 tackles 1 goal 1 behind

thought lenny got plenty of the footy and busted his butt, my fav player (little biased :P) although imagine if he kicked say an average of 2 or 3 goals a game....?

roo had 6 marks 11 touches and kicked 3 goals, tried hard which i think MOST did but was working harder than the rest along with lenny, bally, joey

joey had 26 odd touches along with grammy.
grammy still seems a bit 'lost' if thats the right word.

thats a brief stats version of what happened
