More evidence we are not Sydney (not game plan)
We lost the 2 points vs Fremantle in Sirengate - an umpiring decision on the day
Sydney keep thair 2 points for 'Extreme Flooding' - a Sydney error and get fined $50K - They claim it had no impact on the game - If any North player did not man up on Jolly because he was standing next to a Sydney opponent and so thought every man was covered - then the impact was to have Jolly as a free man - result - a point was scored!!!!
I wish we could pay $50K and have 19 players on the field!!! - Do you think it is an option pre game to send a cheque to the AFL?

Maybe if they make the grandfinal and its close, late in the last qtr. They know that they have a precedent not to lose the game if they cheat.saintbrat wrote:especcially when you only pay $25,000saint66au wrote:The $50,000 wouldnt eat very far into the cheque you get for winning the flag

They are a football club and will do anything they can get away with to win (as would all clubs) so why not cheat to win a flag when you know the only consequence is a $25,000 suspended fine plus whatever further monetary fine they are hit with?

Exactly. It's what they are supposed to do. Why on earth did they 1. allow it to happen and 2. not alert the emerg umpire who is sitting right next to them as to what had happened.
I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

They wrote a report which enabled the AFL to 'handle it' anyway they saw fit.yipper wrote:bergsone wrote:I though that is what interchange stewards are there for .one comes off ,they let one go on.

Of course the interchange steward could have alerted teh NM people about it, which would have allowed NM to send the runner out to their cptain and tell him to call a count.
But then they would have been forced to 'take real action' wouldn't they?
Anybody else notice some 'strange mistakes/misunderstandings' happening with teh Swans since Roos decided to sit on teh Boundary line?
