Yeah I'm done with my negativity for the week. Stuck supporting saints for life, may as well enjoy the prospect of pumping Richmond (hopefully).

Equal 7th is a very optimistic way of looking at it.

Unfortunately we are 24% points behind the 7th placed team, which is as good as 8 premiership points.

They played against the best forward line in the comp today and nearly won so they did ok.

Maybe Buddy kicking 1 goal 7 had something to do with it?

if it wasnt for his poor kicking he would have kicked 8 goals..... so it wasnt that much of a good effort when u really think about it, also roughhead kicked 5....

If both teams keep winning it is as good as eight premiership points.

Can we find a coach with a positive game plan before next week?

I can't wait to see this place after we lose to Richmond.

Was it only 8 points last year at THEIR home ground????

We will be a laughing stock.

TheTiggers did well against the Hawks and we shouldn't underrate them. They are playing a pretty reasonable style with confidence.

Buddy kicked 1 / 7 so what? He obviously didnt rate this time round. Bad kicking is bad football, we should all know that too well.

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

The point is that when Buddy kicks 1 goal 7 and the Hawks beat the Tigers by only 12 points (12 more scoring shots) many come on here and tell us how well the Tigers played.

When we beat Essendon by 6 goals (with many more scoring shots) the same posters give absolutely no credit to our opposition and only bemoan our own performance. You can't have it both ways - be consistant. Either Essendon played well (like the Tigers) or Hawthorn's inaccuracy was a 'problem' (like ours).

:x You know the games up when people start posting stuff about how well Geelong went after a poor start, that the saints started badly in 97 etc etc if our hopes are based on this we're GORRRRRRNNNNNN (gone)
