if it wasnt for his poor kicking he would have kicked 8 goals..... so it wasnt that much of a good effort when u really think about it, also roughhead kicked 5....Mr Magic wrote:Maybe Buddy kicking 1 goal 7 had something to do with it?plugger66 wrote:They played against the best forward line in the comp today and nearly won so they did ok.ralphysaints35 wrote:there backline isnt that good,The_Dud wrote:um, i wouldn't be so confident about beating Richmond

Unfortunately we are 24% points behind the 7th placed team, which is as good as 8 premiership points.
8? i'm confused wouldn't it by 4 because once ur ahead on points percentage doesn't come into it.

TheTiggers did well against the Hawks and we shouldn't underrate them. They are playing a pretty reasonable style with confidence.ralphysaints35 wrote:if it wasnt for his poor kicking he would have kicked 8 goals..... so it wasnt that much of a good effort when u really think about it, also roughhead kicked 5....Mr Magic wrote:Maybe Buddy kicking 1 goal 7 had something to do with it?plugger66 wrote:They played against the best forward line in the comp today and nearly won so they did ok.ralphysaints35 wrote:there backline isnt that good,The_Dud wrote:um, i wouldn't be so confident about beating Richmond

Buddy kicked 1 / 7 so what? He obviously didnt rate this time round. Bad kicking is bad football, we should all know that too well.
Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.
You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

The point is that when Buddy kicks 1 goal 7 and the Hawks beat the Tigers by only 12 points (12 more scoring shots) many come on here and tell us how well the Tigers played.
When we beat Essendon by 6 goals (with many more scoring shots) the same posters give absolutely no credit to our opposition and only bemoan our own performance. You can't have it both ways - be consistant. Either Essendon played well (like the Tigers) or Hawthorn's inaccuracy was a 'problem' (like ours).

You know the games up when people start posting stuff about how well Geelong went after a poor start, that the saints started badly in 97 etc etc if our hopes are based on this we're GORRRRRRNNNNNN (gone)
