Starting with being honest and accepting that the flag will elude Rob Harvey. Let the guy retire and give him a good send off before seasons end. Blood kids NOW!! If we finish low enough then recriut aggressively Trade the Clarkes and Dal Santo and get some tough nuts back in the squad. Unload Blake and Leigh Fisher for some fast and mobile midfielders. But most of all BEGIN the search for Ross Lyons replacement NOW! No need to sack him, just let the contract run its term and not renew it! In the meantime, start grooming Aussie Jones as an assistant with the view to him becoming full time senior coach.
We are going NOWHERE but toward priority picks the way this clown has us playing
Time to rebuild NOW!

Without going over the top.....
Our action plan is supposed to be:
1) Retire Rob Harvey - he can't be part of any tanking. While we are at it Gherig, King, Gardiner & Hughton wont be a part of the next premiership. They can retire and we will promote some rookies.
2) Lose every game for the rest of the year. Our team could be:
B: Geary Gilbert Miles
HB: Howard SFisher Attard
C: Connors Steven Montagna
HF: Eddy C Gardiner Ball
F: Schneider Allen Baker
Foll: McEvoy Armitage McQualter
Int: Van Rheenan whoever else is left.
3) Hope Melbourne & Carlton win at least 6 games for the year
4) Casey Scorps can win the flag - all our "stars" can play the reserves
4) Trade:
- Dal Santo for top 10 pick
- X Clarke for around 20 - 30
- R Clarke for around 30 - 40
- L Fisher for around 30 - 40
5) While we are rebuilding, why dont we also get rid of.....
- N Reiwoldt (Gold Coast will get him anyway) for top 5
- L Hayes - getting a bit old, should be a top 10
- J Koschitzke - always a bit injured, top 10
- Milne - maybe around 40
- M Maguire - hasnt performed since his injury, Collingwood can fix him for a 15 - 20 pick
6) Draft lots of good kids.
Should be a fun 5 years, at least we will beat the talent drain before the 17 & 18 teams come in.

Roo is our 1 priority and watching him last night proves that the grams maguires montagnas would have value without killing us as losses
