Absolutely correct, I am gutted, we were shocking, sick of excuses. Here we are early in the season and we have lost 3 games already and we are surposed to be finals contenders..................savatage wrote:You wouldn't be saying that if you just saw the match. Go saints in '09!
The usual hysteria on SS is the rose coloured glasses that people bring out after a loss IMO. I think people have every right to go off tap at some of these recent "efforts".i_luv_nick_riewoldt wrote:really? its that bad! im scared now. i thought it was the usual hysteria on ss.Saint Bev wrote:Absolutely correct, I am gutted, we were shocking, sick of excuses. $54 for two tickets to the game
$42 on raffle tickets
for ONE friggen game a year!!!

no run.
no pride.
no efforts.
i am so angry its not funny.....im going for a smoke and then i might calm down a bit..............

i know i know.
but god damn its frustrating when u wait for that ONE game live and then u are dished up that piss poor performance.
ill take a few deep breathes and then smoke another ciggy.
forgot to mention the $100 worth of bets i had going at work too.
so thats over $300 bucks worth of shite i just got dished up....
ill prob calm down around thursday next week...........seriously.
i said it when he was appointed and ill say it again......we will NOT win a flag under ross lyon.
the guy has no counter measures when the opposition sides make changes on the field.
and dont even get me started on the piss poor efforts from some of our players tonight.
some great inclusions there, i mean birss had a blinder huh.

Theirs no defence for tonight.
As an example off the top of my head (and probably because of my hatred for him).
Two direct goals were kicked because of Clarke.
First attempt he lazily went to tackle cassisi (i think) to get him over the boundary line, he ducked, kicked it to Tredrea who goaled.
Second time it was similar, except it was a free kick.
Their is no excuse, for ANY AFL player, to not be able to tackle a standing opponent. Weak as piss that was. Ugliest thing i've seen for a while.
