man on man vs the flood?

Is at a case that we flood so much we lose the ability to find a man any man and would rather mark turf?

Here's a idea Ross this week we god dam play man on man back our own abilities and at the end of the day each player can look u in the eye and say i beat my man instead of i covered the back 50 nicely.

Only sh*t teams flood and we are not even close to that. Our backline can take on anyone one on one as can our forwards and midfielders. Just give them that chance.
Remember the good ol' days when we would rebound off halfback and take it down our end and score a minute later, we can still do that. With the gameplan how it is now it takes big Frase that long just to get back to FF

Port were able to just sit back and chip it to one another we ease during the closing stages of each quarter and we refused to man up Ross do something!

Wouldn't we have to kick the ball to do that?

Obviously yes, but when the whole team is down one end who is there to kick it to. Man on man means we have a forward line and midfield always so we can send it forward immediately. Who would want to kick the ball when they look up and see no players ahead of them?

same thing hawthorn did to us last year, dogs did to us this year we just keep on letting them reload time and time again.

every team with a brain (ie excluding essendon and carlton) knows to put 2 players behind the play and they can keep on reloading

its been happening amongst the good teams against us.
