Will we kick 10+ goals tonight???
Given the expected wet weather tonight (the radar is showing many showers around Adelaide right now and more to the far west also), I doubt we will get any more than 10 goals.....we always struggle to kick a decent score against nearly all sides, unless they are bottom 4 material. Surely Port are better than their current ladder position suggests.
The biggie is how can our defence contain them to a low score if they have lots of first use out of the middle due to our lacking of prime rucking options (ie. King and Gardy).

King and M Gardiner would have been handy in the wet.
On the other hand, Port are (allegedly) faster through the middle so that will work to our advantage.
And of course Harve's will excell.

I agree whole-heartedly. If it's showering now, and going to be showering all night, centre clearances and swift counter-attacks are going to be at a premium. It's going to be a hard slog. Expect Lenny, Bally, Armo & of course Harvs to step up if we're going to play well...casey scorp wrote:I don't care how much we kick in miserable conditions tonight, just so long as we kick more than them.

tru that ^^^^
u bet were gonna kick over 10!!
be optomistic
like som1 said, clearance domination will do, and the saints can be the clearance domination side wen they want to. how many times have u seen Lenny Hayes grab the ball from the ruck tap and smash it down forward. once its down our foward line in these conditions, the balls gonna stay there. one thing is...our ruckman losses is a bumber, we could really do with a King or a Gardiner, and most of all with a game like this..a Schneider!
there may b an advantage to Port during their speedy players for the wet weather.
but prepare 2 b suprised

Not sure where your getting your statistics, but their averaging 97 (485 points from 5 games).BAM! Offense hasn't been their problem, and they've got plenty of handy ground level players, so we've got to take advantage of our opportunities.
Where averaging 96 (480 points from 5 games), the worry is that their 1-4, and we're 3-2.
