i think every one missed the point
i strongly doubt we would be interested in a wayward tall forward .... but there are some clubs in vic who would be giving him a look ..surely

as a key marking full forward, if a small forward crumbing pocket who plays up the field under the new coach is consistently out performing you in front of goals then you have to have a good hard look at yourself.

Milne 1.9, tarrant 1.8 goals per game.

its not like Tazza is a HFF, or a CHF, he's played most of his career as FF.

I don't think he would solve our kicking accuracy problems either

I can see Melbourne going after him, and mabey Richmond as Richo is in teh tail end of his carrer. I would be devistated if we went after him, he is a disruptive force, not dedicated enough and a trouble magent IMHO.

He and his clown mate , Solo man, are a couple of dingbats of th ehighest order. Have helped destabilise a once 'finals' bound club.

I certainly didn't miss your point Trav. Can't believe people discussing it as possible.

The bloke is a proven sinner , not a Saint.

Anyone remember the interview where he reckoned he drank beer all the time and was never serious about training . Looking at his performances now ,, Do you think he has changed ?

No thanks . We cannot afford to have another "problem".

What will be next from this club ?

Tarrant?
Not ever.
He never was.
He never will.
Just put him and Solomon on a bus back to Mildura.

Na Can't possibly have tarrant, but I'd like to take a punt on Ben Cousins.

how old will cousins be in 09? 30? 31?

also there is no guarantee he will be clean.

unless of course his dad tells us he's clean right

notice how he dodged the drug test a few weeks ago at the mundine function and his manager comes out and says the drug test was all a stunt etc etc.

but it was a legitimate ASDA drug test he refused to take.

I think it would st kilda's responsibility to do a lot of monitoring over a liar and drug abuser like cousins.

cousins wouldnt be worth the risk
imagine we give up our first pick to get him we cut a player to fit him in we get him onto the feild of play we evolve our game plan to acommadate him then bang he get rubbed out for a whole year cause he fails a drug test  he would be on such thin ice (no pun intended) with the AFL that he would get the heave ho if he so much as thinks to put a foot out of line and as hes show befor final warnings ect dont stop him ...tooo much risk involved . use the draft and try and get a future ben cousins onfeild without the ben cousins off feild
